In the Believer's Magazine 1926 it says:

It is not possible right now to know the start date exactly, but as in the same place it says the Little One's Treasury was also in 36th year, I will assume they started at the same time. Possibly during the war years these weren't issued. CBA has some from the 1950s up to 1968.
