William Cooper was founder of "Copper Bros", an accountancy firm in London, which now forms part of PWC - ie. Price Waterhouse COOPERS.

William Cooper is the subject of the book "He Being Dead Yet Speaketh" which contains various diary entries and notes. As pointed out in an entry on my guestbook, his widow, Jane Susanna (nee Coke) married J.S. Oliphant.
