Born at Blackheath, Kent. Businessman & Shareholder of the Peek Frean’s Biscuit Works, South London, 1876-1916. His yearly income exceeded £10,000. He left an estate valued at over a quarter of a million sterling. He left the residue of his property, valued at £200,000 to the Editors of "Echoes of Service” published at Widcombe Cresent, Bath. He died at Eastbourne, age 59. Burial in Norwood Cemetery, Norwood Road, Lambeth, London. (Could find no record of a marriage)
