Through Margaret, Lord Congleton had his only child, Sarah Cecilia Parnell (1868-1912). In 1895 she married a Henry Ambrose Mandeville - any relation to the Lord Mandeville of the Powerscourt Conference?

Re: Tom's question about the name Mandeville. Henry Ambrose Mandeville (1841-1917) was descended from a family with property in Ballinahy, co. Tipperary. He had four daughters by his first wife, Maud [née Heyman, died 1891] and married, in 1895, Lord Congleton’s daughter, the Hon Sarah Cecilia Parnell [died 1912].
The Montagu family came from Huntingdonshire and when they were raised to the peerage (in the 17th century) they took as one of their titles ‘Viscount Mandeville’ because of their descent from the Norman Lady Beatrice de Mandeville. George Montagu (1799-1855) who took part in the Powerscourt conferences was known by the courtesy title, Lord [Viscount] Mandeville until his succession to the title of 6th Duke of Manchester in 1843.
