She first married Alexander ANDERSON in 1878 (1878/2065). There are several possible deaths for him between then and 1885. There don’t appear to have been any children to this marriage.
No reccord of Jessie's death found at present, however she must have died, because SJBC married Helen Mary ROGERS in Salisbury UK in 1926.
Hugh McPhillimy, Jessie’s father, wrote to H L Garrett in Hobart about assembly matters on 24 September 1886, urging what sound like Exclusive views on assembly gathering. possibly this helped influence Carter’s move to Exclusivism.
