The tune being sung here is not "Dusseldorf" as written above....rather Wareham by William Knapp (1698-1768)

Is the so-called "Dusseldorf" tune really by Schumann? The German Brethren hymnbook attributes it to Johann Heinrich Egli (1742–1810).

The Melody given above cannot be composed by Robert Schumann (1810-1856). It is from the Swiss hymnbook “Christliches Gesangbuch . . .” Zürich, 1787, hymn 74, see: https://www.e-rara.ch/zuz/content/zoom/9909857 and https://www.e-rara.ch/zuz/content/zoom/9909972 In a later Swiss hymn book of 1867 (“Psalmen und Geistliche Lieder für die evangelisch-reformirte Kirche des Kantons Schaffhausen“) hymn 95 has the same text and melody and in the register (on page XVII) the melody is attributed to „Heinr. Egli. 1787”, see also what is said about hymn 32 on page XIV:

I've updated the recording for 128 to point to Wareham. Maybe we can find another version of that sung to Dusseldorf. Also replaced the author of Dusseldorf.
