George Darby was an elder brother of John Nelson Darby

George Darby was born in 1796. He was the son of John Darby and Anne Vaughan. He married Maria Homfray, daughter of Samuel Homfray, in 1827. He died in 1878.
He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.). He was a practising Barrister-at-Law. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for East Sussex between 1837 and 1846.He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.). He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.). He lived at Marklye, Sussex, England.

Maria Homfray is the daughter of Samuel Homfray.She married George Darby, son of John Darby and Anne Vaughan, in 1827.

William Homfray Fuller Darby, youngest son, died in 1889 in Hong Kong, aged 43.

Jonathan George Norton Darby was born in 1829. He married Susan Margaret Wetherell, daughter of Nathan Wetherell, on 31 March 1869. He died on 17 March 1870, without issue.  He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.). He was a practising Barrister-at-Law.

Letitia Lovett Darby, 2nd Daughter, died in 1861, age 28.

Katherine Maria Darby, 4th Daughter.
