You will be pleased to learn that Brother Darby has sent me an admirable selection of tracts, and Brother Christian McAdam of your city writes me of his purpose to forward more.

This is good. My plan is to send a small parcel here & there entrusted to a responsible person who will deal them out to such as who will read, & then will return them to me for the use of others still. An invoice should accompany all such parcels to prevent trouble at the Customs House here; otherwise one is liable to have the goods appraised at a figure much higher than they would come to at retail prices in London. A letter from Brother Wells of Guelph, C.W. received yesterday says, There has been only one added since you left; three in Mt. Forest, four in Georgetown, several in different places. You will have heard of St. Catherines, & thus a new gathering, Brother Evans the instrument; also another of 9 near Barrie, I think. Mrs. B joins with me in sending Christian love to yourself & wife. Our love to all who love our Lord Jesus in sincerity. Yours in our Lord,

F.G.Brown

N.B. Please notice that my address is “F.G.Brown”. It is safe to direct to me at this place. Should I move from here the P.M. will forward.

P.S. It was my purpose to write at length to Bro. McA, but will not now. Will you see that he has this note, B.
