Many of the printed items referenced in these Calendars (and for subsequent years too) are in the 'Plymouth' section on the 'Historical Documents' page. I plan to leave them there for now.

I have apologised to Tom for my very inadequate typing skills when I was a mere stripling of 21 years, using my mother's antediluvian typewriter (non electric!) in 1962. In those days Tipp-Ex correction paper (patented in Germany 1958) was unknown in England and word-processors were unimagined. I never imagined that my typing errors would come back to haunt me! Pray, be lenient on the insufficiencies of my youth. Timothy
