I born and studied in Brethren church in India. I am living in capital city of India since 20 yrs. I attend my church only when I visit to my native place, I miss all the hymns I use to sing in the church, moreover, I miss the church very much. i wish I could get the hymns, I teach my son the songs which I learnt when I was little girl. May I have the hymns book, what I get here is in Kannada language not in english. If possible to download from the website, please help. I want my son to grow in Godly way in this crooked generation.

please reply using my email.........Am a music director in the evangelical church in zambia.Am asking if its possible to produce the songs in the book in notation form so that our church can move on the same leval with other churches.we use the songs in this book in church but the choirs have no notation book to call our own.Each time you use a notation song others claim it since they are not in our hymn book it becomes difficult to answer.please help.

Did anyone ever find the apostrophe that went missing from the Believers Hymnbook title?

CG, yes I've spotted it many times - on menus, supermarket signs, and vehicle signage. "Banana's, apple's, and pear's"

Wanted to point out in this thread that the book has been digitized and is available from the Apple "App Store" and "Google Play" as "Believers Hymn Book" - or "BHB+" these days, as it now contains a number of Gospel Hymn Books as well. Has the biographies of authors as compiled by Harold Paisley in his "Believers Hymn Book Companion" and augmented by yours truly. There is no cost - all tunes will play for reference. If you want the sheet music and the "New Believers Hymn Book" as well, both editions, you can pay US$4.99, same venues. Thanks SO much for all the help Nick Fleet has given us . . . And continues to give. You will find his contributions in the author biographies.

Thank you Alfred, Nick, and others who assisted. This is a blessed help to many believers who love and sing these inspired hymns until we are transported to see our Blessed Saviour in glory, and then to worship Him without the presence of sin, and the brokenness of the professing Church.
